Recent Events in CCC

- The 6th biennial CCC meeting, CCC 2010 ([1]), was recently held in Lyon (France). The final program can be found here: [2]. The oral and poster presentations covered a wide range of chemical and biological sciences, involving CCC-based separations from inorganic ions to natural products to macromolecules to whole cells.
- A course on "History, Theory and Practice of Countercurrent Chromatography: learning step-by-step" was held at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in December 2009. The event featured contributions by Drs. W. Conway and A. Berthod, and the organizer, Dr. G. Leitao. With financial support from FAPERJ and CAPES, Dr. Leitao also created a set of DVDs which are available for academic purposes.
